Updates and Patches - particleIllusion
3.0 for Windows
The current version of particleIllusion 3.0 for Windows is 3.0.4.1 (or 3.0.4a)
The easiest way to update if you have 3.0.2 or 3.0.3 installed is to use the AutoUpdate feature -- use "Check for Updates"
in the "Help" menu.
After updating with the AutoUpdate feature, if you want to update your documentation as well you need to
download and install the pI3 doc updater for Windows
To update from 3.0.x to 3.0.4a without using the AutoUpdate feature,
download the 3.0.4a updater (5.0 MB)
If you can't get pI3
to run after updating, use the "reset default settings" option
in the Start -- Programs -- particleIllusion 3 menu.

Note: If updating from 3.0.1a to 3.0.4 you will need to activate again as it uses an updated licensing system. (updating from 3.0.2 or 3.0.3 does not require reactivation)
