particleIllusion 3.0     $399
Our top-of-the line, fully-featured pro application. pI3 is a standalone application that uses the latest version of our particle engine to create the most complex, sophisticated particle effects. Over 2800 emitters are included (with more released free every month), and you can also purchase the Pro Emitters to add to your emitter collection.

particleIllusion 3.0 supports multiple layers of footage and emitters, has Deflectors, Forces, a Library Manager, and can create Super Emitters (emitters that create other emitters), and has advanced particle color options. 3.0 also has user interface enhancements that make working with particles easier (when compared to SE).

particleIllusion 3.0 does everything that particleIllusion SE does, and much more.

particleIllusion SE     $99
Our low-priced introductory version of particleIllusion, SE uses an older version (version 2) of our particle engine. It is a standalone application that includes over 950 emitters (and more are released for free every month). The Pro Emitters do NOT work with SE.

particleIllusion SE supports only a single layer of footage and emitters (although you can add as many emitters on this layer as you want). SE does not have the interface enhancements that make 3.0 easier to work with, although SE's interface is quite easy to learn and use. SE does not include blockers, forces, cannot create Super Emitters, and other enhancements in version 3.0 of our engine.

Emitters for Motion     $39 - $99 - $149
The Particle Emitters for Motion are a collection of particle presets for Apple Motion. Most of these presets were created in particleIllusion SE (and are part of the particleIllusion SE and 3.0 emitter libraries) and then converted to work with Motion's built-in particle system.

There are 3 sizes available: small (65 emitters), medium (200 emitters), and large (337 emitters). Note that particleIllusion 3.0 is much more advanced than Motion's particle system, so can do a much larger range of effects.

Pro Emitters     $39 each - all 12 for $329
The Pro Emitters are a collection of emitters for particleIllusion 3.0, and only work in particleIllusion 3.0. These advanced emitters are arranged into themed libraries of 30 emitters each, and are "above and beyond" the emitters that are included with particleIllusion 3. More complex, beautiful, and realistic, they are a great "add-on" to particleIllusion 3.
