Particle Emitters for Motion
User Comments
"Overall, the wondertouch particle systems
are exceptional, offering more sophisticated effects than
Motion's stock systems. Since many of the particle emitters
include multiple particle cells, artists can expect to create
more complex, organic, and realistic effects. Whether used
for creating smoke, fire, or explosion elements... or dreamy,
organic background elements, wondertouch has provided enough
options to satisfy just about any motion graphics design
need..."

"The wondertouch collection is overflowing
with every conceivable effect. They are simply amazing! All
the particle effects perform brilliantly within Motion and
just as importantly, they look great. You could easily spend
hours just going through every effect included in this package.
For anyone working with particles, consider this a 'must-have'
Motion addition!"

Road Productions
Samples
Need some proof as to the quality of these particle emitters?
We've provided a few sample projects here. These include a "creature" emitter,
an explosion, some "background" emitters, and "text effect",
and another
"creature" emitter just for fun. These emitters are not included
in the emitter collections, but are a sampling of some of the
types of emitters that are in the collection. They're all included
in a single file here:

(Updated on 13 March 2005 -- prior to this, there were
some missing image files.)
Note that these samples are provided as Motion project files
as opposed to particle emitter library presets. The versions
available for purchase are accessed from the "Particle Emitters" folder
of the Motion Library.

It contains info on performance and some other details.

Motion 2 Compatibility
These emitters will work fine in Motion 2, but only when
Motion 2's library content is installed in the default location.
If the library content is relocated (which was not possible
in Motion 1), most of the emitters will not work (the particle
source images will not be found, and the particles will show
as "Checkerboard" squares in the preview window). We're working
on a new installer to fix this issue, and a workaround is
available. contact
